Skateboarding at Shady Rest Park

Do you have Skateboarding Experiences you'd like to share? Find out How!

  • The small skatepark at Shady Rest Park is a perfect place for beginners and small kids (with supervision) to test their balance and talents on smooth surfaces and a variety of mellow features. There's a pyramid, a bowled quarter pipe, a flat down flat rail and a road barrier with a transition. Between the old-growth Jeffrey pines and the grassy playing fields, the setting is peaceful and shady. There are restrooms, water, picnic tables and a playground nearby. And there's never much of a crowd. Bikes are welcome too!
